These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of tewahedopress.com (the "Site") and the purchase of any products from MARKA LLC ("Tewahedo Press", "we", "our", or "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
You may purchase products as a guest or by creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (including for suspected fraud, pricing or typographical errors, or unauthorized resale), and to discontinue products at any time.
Despite best efforts, errors may occur. If we identify a pricing error after you place an order, we will notify you and, at your option, either cancel the order with a full refund or proceed with the corrected price.
Your order is an offer to purchase. Order confirmation emails are acknowledgments, not acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we ship the product. We may decline or cancel any order, including for fraud screening or compliance reasons.
Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept the methods listed at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay). Payments are processed by PCI DSS-compliant third-party processors (Stripe and PayPal). By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on applicable US state and local laws where Tewahedo Press has economic nexus. Customers are responsible for any other taxes, duties, or import fees imposed by their destination country.
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we deliver the product to the carrier.
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
All content on the Site · including text, translations, images, logos, and the typographical layout of our editions · is owned by or licensed to Tewahedo Press and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except as allowed by fair use or for personal devotional reading.
"Tewahedo Press", the Tewahedo Press logo, and our trade dress are trademarks of MARKA LLC.
You agree not to: (a) use the Site for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or related systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Site; (d) use any robot, spider, or scraper to access the Site, except for legitimate search engine indexing; (e) submit false or misleading information.
By submitting reviews, comments, or other content, you grant Tewahedo Press a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our business. You represent that your content does not violate any third party's rights and is not unlawful, defamatory, or obscene.
The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tewahedo Press's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law (including statutory consumer rights).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tewahedo Press, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, except where applicable consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
For US customers, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally within 60 days shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out of this clause within 30 days of first purchase by emailing legal@tewahedopress.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
