The complete Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Bible, all 81 sacred books from Genesis to Revelation, plus the books of Enoch, Jubilees, Meqabyan I to III, 4 Ezra, and the Ethiopic Deuterocanon. Translated into modern English from the original Ge'ez manuscripts.
For nearly 1,700 years, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has preserved the most complete biblical canon in Christendom. While the rest of the Christian world streamlined the Bible to 66 books, the monasteries of Ethiopia carefully copied and preserved 81, the canon used by the early Church.
This edition brings that complete canon into modern American English for the first time in a single, beautifully bound volume. Translation work was led by Ethiopian Orthodox scholars in partnership with biblical translators, working from the original Ge'ez manuscripts and cross referenced against the Greek Septuagint and Hebrew Masoretic texts.
The result is a Bible that's both deeply faithful to the Ethiopian tradition and approachable for any English reader.

I've collected separate editions of Enoch and Jubilees for years. Having them properly placed alongside Genesis through Revelation, in a quality leather binding, is exactly what I've been waiting for. The translation is clear and the footnotes are thoughtful.
The leather is supple, the gilt edges are clean, and the book lies flat on a desk, a small thing that matters when you're studying. My priest cross checked several passages against the Ge'ez and was impressed with the fidelity.
Ordered the parallel English / Ge'ez edition for my father. He cried. The font is generous, the paper is high quality, and the packaging felt like a gift box. Customer service was responsive and helpful when I asked about delivery timing.
The content and quality are five stars. My only note is that at 1.6 kg this is not a "carry to church" Bible. I keep it on a stand at home. Still very pleased with the purchase.
The Meqabyan books alone justified the purchase. I'd looked for a clean English translation of those for years. Shipping was faster than promised and the box was very secure.
